A fair/lawn fete/carnival close to my hometown. I, as many of you know, am not a drinker, at all. I spent a long time in that beer tent listening to an 80’s rock cover band but you know what? The music wasn’t bad and I was with some of my closest friends. It got a little muggy and then we went outside and our number grew exponentially. Tattoo’s everywhere merging together into one motley crew. In no way, shape, or form was that a reference or pun to the cover band mentioned above. If I may make one request, though. Please, stock some stretch salt water taffy. None of that wax wrapped, round garbage. I want a foot of teeth rotting goodness.

They had a delicious fresh-brewed sweet tea, though. Congrats on that.

It’s a sad day for music today. I, for one, do not like the Beatles, but this death, like John Lennon, will stick with me. Hopefully, I will remember where I was when I heard the news and all the people that actually called to see if I knew. Fittingly, when I took the dog for a walk, someone was blaring “Thriller”, the song, not the album, and some other solid gold hits from the King himself. It was nice to get some atmosphere in the area. It’s funny. I live in the city and no one blares their music during the day. My friend Steve and I have talked about doing things like piping music into the city streets. Nothing vulgar, and maybe just classical music or classics that won’t irritate people. In our stupid subway line, during the morning and evening riding sessions, music is piped through the announcement speakers and it’s nice. I like to ride my bike there in the morning because it’s quiet and is nice. Point being, if we had the means to do that today, Michael Jackson should have been played…louder than regular.

I don’t care what anyone says. Michael Jackson made incredible records, regardless of his later years’ debacles. Tomorrow, I recommend that everyone listens to Thriller, Off The Wall, or Bad. I’ll be listening to all three.

Myself, as well as about ten other friends, are riding our bikes in order to destroy cancer. This will be many of our second go at it and it has to go better than the first time. Last year, like this year, we are riding 62.3 miles. Last year though, it was 20+ mile per hour winds for a good thirty miles. No one minded the rain, but the wind was destructive to our legs and staminas. This year is supposed to be nice, though. I’ll try and get a bunch of pictures of us eating PB ‘n J’s and slamming Gatorades.

Thought I would let you know…

I was at Wendy’s the other day and there was a girl there that looked like a good looking mama-cita. Then it happened. I saw her face. Since I’m not naming names, I’m going to get graphic. It was pitty. Like mega acne scarification. Then everything faded into perspective. Unshaven legs, man hands, terrible hair, and no actual shape.

Lesson?
Don’t date girls from Wendy’s? I don’t know. Don’t date chicks that you can’t get a good look at, probably.

I would love to switch gears a little bit and get into voice acting. I have a wonderful, calm, deep voice and would like to benefit from it. Anyone who knows me can vouch for that. So, if anyone knows anyone looking for voice over work, please, look no further.
